A centre offering ABC Awards qualifications goes from strength to strength.

Market Driven Training Limited was recognised at the Midlands Excellence Awards for achieving the prestigious Training Quality Standard.

In front of more than 1,150 business leaders, the Birmingham-based organisation which delivers textile qualifications across the East and West Midlands was one of eight companies recognised for meeting the rigorous demands of the Standard.

Designed to highlight and celebrate the best organisations delivering training and development solutions to employers, the Training Quality Standard is a mark that can be recognised by employers as a sign that a provider will offer them training and development solutions that positively impact on their business needs.

Midlands Excellence's subsidiary Investors in Excellence is a national assessment and certification body for the Standard and has assessed 200 providers over the past two years.

Speaking after the gala ceremony at The ICC in Birmingham, Investors in Excellence chief executive Ian Nield said:
