Awarded Showcase status for the 2nd time for Motor Vehicle

In September 2014 all Automotive, Engineering and Manufacturing courses at Fareham College were relocated to the CEMAST Centre of Excellence, a new campus built on the Daedalus airfield in Lee-on-the-Solent. The site will become the central training facility for over 900 Full Time and Part Time Students, and will also act as the main learning centre for students in apprenticeship programmes with partner companies – BAE Systems, GE Aviation, Virgin Atlantic, Coopervision, Burgess Marine, Jensen Motorsport to mention but a few.

Paul Brimecome, Head of Automotive and Engineering is delighted that Fareham is able to continue as an ABC Awards Showcase centre and feels that the help and support Fareham can offer other centres that are seeking to deliver ABC Awards automotive qualifications benefits their own provision and learners.
