About The Qualification
This qualification is designed for learners who already have experience working with small animals in an employed or voluntary capacity. It promotes the safe administration of hydrotherapy by teaching practical skills and providing rigorous theory to help learners to understand the benefits of hydrotherapy for small animals with a number of conditions. Learners will complete this qualification with a concrete understanding of the following:
- Available units include: Water Management for Small Animal Hydrotherapy, Disorders of the Canine Stifle Joint for Hydrotherapists, Advanced Anatomy, Physiology and more.
Progression Routes: What's Next?
Learners who successfully complete the Level 3 Certificate will be able to continue in further education and training related to this area of expertise. This qualification is a component of the membership requirements for professional bodies within the sector.
