About The Qualification
This qualification has been developed in collaboration with industry, providers and Lantra for those learners working in arboriculture. It enables learners to progress to professional memberships, provides a stimulating and supportive environment to grow professionally, and improves job prospects by formalising professional skills and training. Learners will complete this qualification with a concrete understanding of the following:
- Selection, planting and design for amenity and landscape purposes
- Tree and hedge management
- Tree risk management
- Arboricultural plant health
- Planning and development in arboriculture
Optional units include: Woodland Management, Management of Special Trees, Structural Damage Investigations, and more
Progression Routes: What's Next?
Learners who achieve these qualifications could progress to a Higher Degree.
